What do I do if I've forgotten both my username and password?

If you've forgotten both your username and password don't bother contacting us because you're obviously a muppet and we're not going to waste our time replying to your email. Just kidding ;o) If you forget both your username and password, click on the "Forgot Password" link at the bottom of the login box and enter the email address you gave when you registered. What is a "Naughty Photo"?

Before photos can be viewed on the community a member of the Addictive Interactive team must first approve them. A "Naughty Photo" is a photo of an adult or suggestive nature, possibly depicting scenes of nudity that may offend some of our community members.

How do I upload photos?

To make the community as fun as possible it is important that our members upload photos of themselves that they wish to share. To do this simply log in, click on the "my profile" link at the top of the screen and go to "manage photos".

Once here, make sure your on the  "upload" tab at the top of the page. Clicking 'browse' will then allow you to browse the files on your computer and select the files that you wish to upload. Once you have selected a photo you can then select an album to place it in if you wish or simply click "Upload" to add it to your photo album. Prior to being approved an icon will be displayed in your photo album indicating that the photo is "Awaiting Approval".

My photo was rejected because of "white borders". What can I do to remedy this?

We occasionally have to reject a photo because of large white borders. This is because they will not be clearly displayed on the community once they are uploaded. If one of your photos is rejected for this reason, simply open your photo into a photo-editing application on your computer (most computers come with at least one application pre-installed. E.g. "Paint Shop Pro" or "Microsoft Photo Editor"). You can then save the cropped photo (image without the white borders) into a new file and upload as explained above.

My photo failed to upload - file is too large?

If this message is displayed you need to reduce the size of your photo. The maximum file size you can upload is 2mb, which is ample for most pictures. To view the file size before you upload your photo, right click on it with the mouse and select "Properties" from the menu. If the file size does exceed this limit you can reduce it as follows:

  1. Open your photo in a photo-editing application and re-size the image using the options available (for example, reduce it to 50% of its original size).

  2. Save you photo as a "JPEG" file. To do this go to "Save As" and select the JPEG file type in the file type menu.

How do I upgrade my community membership?

To upgrade your community membership click on the "Upgrades" link in your tool bar.

I keep being told to "Log in" even though I have already done so

Firstly, this may be because you have not used the community for a while despite leaving your browser window open. If your account is inactive for an hour the system will require you to log back in. However, if you are repeatedly told to login despite having done so already during the session, the problem may be because you have cookies disabled on your system. To adjust Internet Explorer's privacy settings, click on the "Tools" menu at the top of the screen and select "Internet Options". Next, click on the "Privacy" tab and adjust your privacy settings accordingly to enable cookies.
